Ultrasonic leak detector
Ultrasonic leak detector identifies air, gas, or dust leaks in pipelines, doors, windows, and appliances. Install 9V batteries in both transmitter and detector. Place the transmitter inside the test area, then move the detector with headphones around seals and joints to locate leaks.

INTRODUCTION
▲ Ultrasonic leak delector ublizes ultrasonic sensor to check the airtightness of pipe. The
operation is easy and accurate. The instrument can identify the gas leakage of various
pressure or vacuum system.
▲ The transmitter will generate 40kiz ultrasonic signal, and it is used in conjunction with the detector to detecting the leaking location of the object. For example, the detector will deted signal leaking from the hole of the pipeline, and as user moves the detector, the hole can be located correctly. The main application is the tightness test of any kinds, for example, doors, windows, plumbing, container, car windows, refrigerators ... etc.

OPERATION
The detector can work solely; it is used to detecting the weak ultrasonic generating from the
gas leaking, the leaking location can be located by moving the detector and listen to the voice
generating from the detector. The detector can be used in corjunction with the transmiter,
which the transmitter will generating the ultrasonic signal, and if there is any leakage point,
the signal will go through it and so the detector can locate the point by listening to the signal.
Detector
(1) Connect the earphone with the earphone jack.
(2) Rotaling the rotation switch to switch on the power. Power Indicator shall light up, if not, please change the battery. Rotating the rotation switch to adjust the sensitivity.
(3) Moving the sensor of the detector along the testing area slowhy. If there is no leaking been deted, "LEAK "Indicator will not light up, and user hear DA-DA-DA' repeatedly from the earphone.
As the detector approaching the leaking location, "LEAK " Indicator will star: to light up, and the frequency and volume of " DA - voice will increase.
(4) Repair the leaking point and repeats test procedure (1) - (3) to make sure the leaking is sealed properly.
(5) Switch off the detector power.
Transmitter
(1) Rotating the rotation switch to switch on the power. Power Indicator shallight up, if not, please change the battery.
(2) The transmitter will start to gerate the ultrasonic signal, use the detector to detect the signal.
(3) Switch off the power after the test is done.
CAUTION
1. The strength of the ultrasonicsignal generating by the leakage will affect by many factors, for example, pressure of the gas, shape of the leaking point, pipe material, detecting distance .. . etc. Most of the time, the ultrasonicsignal will be very weak. Therefore it recommended using the strongest sensity to for the beginning of the test.
2. When the ultrasonic signal is too strong, the voice from the earphone will be to high to distinguish.
Please reduce the sensitivity, and so user can locate the leakage by listening to the signal strength.
3. If the testing environment is noisy, reduce the sensitivity to cut off the noise before locating leaking.
4. Move the defecting probe around slightly after find out the signal. This will help user to judge wher the signal is a real signal or it is just a noise.
5. Sensor Protector will protect the ullrasonic sensor, but it will reduce the receiving signal strength. If the signal is too weak, please take off the Sensor Protector.
6. Detector earphone is more sensilivity than the " LEAK indicator. It is possible that user hears the ultrasonic signal before indicator lights up.
7. Since the uttrasonic signal attenuating rapidly in the air, please approach the probe to testing object as close as possible.
8. The signal strength of the transmitter is constant.
