Application:
  • DOT3 & DOT 4 and DOT 5.1
  • Particular brand of DOT 3, like as AC Delco, PENNZOIL, PRESTONE, MOTORCRAFT,TOYOTA
  • Handy tester to determine the condition of brake fluids.
Instruction:
  • Green: Battery OK, i.e.: no water contained in the brake fluid.
  • Yellow: Less than 1% of water content in brake fluid
  • Yellow/yellow: Approx.2% of water content in brake fluid
  • Yellow/yellow/red: Approx.3% of water content in brake fluid.
  • Yellow/yellow/red/red: At least 4% of water content in brake fluid.
  • Before it destroys calipers and other brake system components.
    1.Remove cap from brake fluid reservoir.
    2.Remove probe cap from brake fluid tester.
    3.Press power button on top of tester. Green LED lights up.
    4.Dip entire length of metal probes into brake fluid.
    5.After one second, match color of LEDs with color chart to determine brake fluid quality.
  • Tester automatically powers off after 12 seconds of inactivity.
