Fuel filter tool removal

Fuel filter tool removal: Connect a 3/8" drive ratchet to the 74.3mm 14-flute Mercedes-Benz oil filter wrench. To remove the old cartridge, turn counter-clockwise. Before installing the new filter, apply oil to the cover rim for a proper seal. Finally, use the ratchet and wrench to tighten and secure the housing.

Instruction:

  • Removing an old filter cartridge: Use a 3/8” drive ratchet wrench to connect to the oil filter wrench, and turn counter-clockwise for removal.
  • Installing a new filter cartridge: Use a 3/8” drive ratchet wrench and connect to oil filter wrench for installation. Apply some oil-on-oil filter cover rim before installation.
