Fuel filter wrench

Fuel filter wrench: Initially, slide the small 12-sided tool over the sensor cable to fit the cover. Subsequently, rotate it counter-clockwise to detach the sensor. Furthermore, engage the 97.7mm big tool with the Mitsubishi 2.5D filter housing. Finally, use a 1/2-inch drive to turn it counter-clockwise. Consequently, this two-piece set ensures a secure, damage-free removal of both the housing and the sensor.

  • Big tool size 97.7 mm x 15 flutes x 1/2" square drive.
  • Small tool size 44.8 mm x 12 sides

  • Fuel filter removal tool for use on Mitsubishi Triton 2.5 diesel engines
  • Two pieces in a set, the big tool for holding the filter housing, and the small tool for holding the fuel filter sensor

Instruction:

  • Insert the small tool through the sensor cable and fit the tool on the sensor cover (Fig. 1)
  • Turn the small tool counter clockwise to remove the sensor cover.
  • Insert and fit the big tool to the fuel filter housing and turn the big tool counter clockwise to remove the fuel filter housing (Fig. 2)
