Manual

Feature:

  • Heavy duty construction tool for removing oil filter housings on MAN trucks and buses
  • 135.7 mm x 18 flutes
  • 1/2" square drive to allow sufficient torque required to remove large size oil filter housings
  • Use a manual wrench with this fuel filter wrench. DO NOT use an air/impact wrench

Instruction:

  • Removing an old filter cartridge
    Use a 1/2” drive tool or ratchet wrench to connect to the 1/2” drive on the oil filter wrench, and turn counter-clockwise for removal.
  • Installing a new filter cartridge
    Use a 1/2” drive ratchet wrench and connect to oil filter wrench for installation.
    Apply some oil on oil filter cover rim before installation.
