Lock ring tool

Lock ring tool: This heavy-duty tool removes fuel pump locking rings for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, and Kia. First, clear sensors and fit the tool onto the ring. Ensure tabs mesh perfectly with the grooves. Using a 1/2” square drive wrench, manually rotate the tool counterclockwise to apply torque and safely release stubborn rings from the fuel tank.

  • Heavy duty design with 1/2” square drive to provide sufficient torque when removing stubborn fuel pump lock rings.

Instruction:

  • Fit the tool on the fuel pump locking ring on the fuel tank. Avoid or disconnect any sensors on top of the fuel pump.
  • Make sure that the tabs on the tool are perfectly meshed with the grooves.
  • Use a 1/2” drive wrench to turn counterclockwise manually in order to remove the locking ring from the fuel tank.
