Volvo oil filter wrench

Volvo oil filter wrench (86.6mm/16 flutes) enables precise removal and installation for Volvo vehicles. Use a 27mm hex socket with a ratchet to turn counter-clockwise for removal. To install, apply oil to the filter cover rim and use a 3/8" drive ratchet. Tighten to a torque of 25Nm±5Nm. This casting aluminum tool ensures a secure fit without damaging the filter housing.

Instructions:

  • Removing an old filter cartridge: Use a 27mm hex socket to connect a ratchet wrench and oil filter wrench, and turn counter-clockwise for removal.
  • Installing a new filter cartridge: Use a 3/8” DR ratchet wrench and connect to oil filter wrench for installation. Apply some oil-on-oil filter cover rim before installation.
