Camshaft locking tool

Camshaft locking tool: This steel tool is equivalent to OEM 0109-2E. Specifically, it positions the exhaust camshaft in the "timed" position. Therefore, use it for drive belt replacement or engine timing checks. Furthermore, it fits specific Citroën, Peugeot, and Vauxhall/Opel 1.2L wet belt petrol engines. Moreover, its design works with the split plastic cam cover, which consequently saves significant time. Always use it following OEM instructions.

  • This has been developed to allow the user to position the exhaust camshaft of the listed vehicles in its "timed" position when replacing the drive belt or checking the engine timing.
  • Specifically, it is designed for engines with the split plastic cam cover; thus, this gives significant time saving for timing checks and belt replacement.
  • To check the belt for swelling use timing belt checking gauge.
  • For 1.0L & 1.2L non-turbo engine timing kit, 
  • Equivalent to OEM 0109-2E.
  • Use in accordance with OEM instructions.
