Spindle nut socket

Spindle nut socket operation allows quick removal of axle fasteners on select 3/4 to 1-ton 4WD vehicles. First, align the 6 outer lugs of the tool precisely with the corresponding slots on the fastener. Next, attach a standard 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar to the drive end. Finally, apply steady counterclockwise force to safely unthread and remove the nut without damaging surrounding components.
