Drill bit sharpener

Drill bit sharpener: First, plug in the drill and follow its speed specifications (max 800 rpm). Then, feed the bit through drill guide 1 and move it gently back and forth until sharpened. Next, adjust the grinding disc height using setting screw 

2. Additionally, practice with an old bit first. When replacing the disc, first remove the cap screw, guide, and setting screw; afterward, swap the disc and finally reassemble all parts.

Material:

  • ABS + PP

Drill Bit Range:

  • 3.5, 4, 4.3, 4.6, 5, 5.3, 5.6,6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10mm.

Operation:

  1. First, plug the drill into a suitable power source. Then, carefully observe the specifications on the tape plate of your drill before proceeding.
  2. Switch the drill on and allow it to reach medium speed. (Max.800rpm)
  3. Feed the drill bit through a suitable hole in the drill guide 1 until you have touched the grinding stone (Fig. E). Observe the specifications on the drill guide1. Move the drill back and forth with light pressure until it is sufficiently sharpened (Fig. F).
  4. Remove the drill guide1to adjust the height of the grinding disc. Then tum the setting screw2to adjust the position of the grinding disc (Fig. G).
  5. For example, an old drill bit can first be used as a trial so that you can gradually familiarize yourself with the proper use of the drill bit sharpener.

Replacing the grinding disc:

  1. Use a cross-head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screw from the cap of the sharpener (Fig. H).
  2. Remove the drill guide1, the setting screw 2 and take out the grinding disc set (Fig. l).
  3. Loose the threaded connection and remove the old grinding disc (Fig. J).
  4. Replace the old grinding disc with a new one and re-assemble the threaded connection (Fig. K).
  5. Repeat the steps described above in reverse sequences to finish replacement.
