CAAI0001 TAIWAN CALIBRE 8" Glass Running Pliers

Running pliers for glass

Running pliers for glass are ideal for breaking out 1/8" to 13/64" (3mm to 5mm) thick glass, especially narrow pieces. These pliers ensure a smooth break using a 7-7/8" body, 1" curved rubber-coated jaw, and an adjustment screw. Center the upper jaw over the score line on the cut side of the glass. Apply pressure to use the pliers.

Feature:

  • Glass Running Pliers are ideal for 1/8" - 13/64" (3 mm - 5 mm) thick glass and are particularly useful for narrow break outs.
  • To ensure a smooth, consistent break, the glass running plier features a 7-7/8" (200 mm) long body, 1" (24 mm) jaw width, adjustment screw, and rubber coated curved jaw design.

Instruction:

  • The pliers contain the adjustment screw on the same side as the upper jaw.
  • When performing glass runs the upper jaw should be placed center to the score line on the same surface of the glass that the cut was performed before pressure is exerted to perform the run.
