Radiator cap pressure tester use begins with a cold engine. First, wear a safety shield and fit the correct adapter to the radiator or cap. Next, pump the pressure until it reaches the manufacturer's specified psi level. Monitor the gauge for drops and check for leaks. Finally, if the cap fails to hold pressure, replace it. Always refer to manufacturer specs when refilling the cooling system.
